Who We Are
Karen is the founder and Head Designer of Karen Ward Interiors, a dynamic interior design firm established in Orange County, California and now based in Charlottesville, Virginia. With over 14 years of experience on both sides of the country, Karen has established a well-respected firm built on the foundations of innumerable past satisfied clients. Karen received her Bachelor of Arts Degree - Interior Design from Interior Designers Institute, Newport Beach California. Her extensive travels and love of art, architecture and fashion are major sources of inspiration in her work.
What We Do
From new construction to remodels, we specialize in projects of a wide variety of scales and scopes. We are adept are all phases of the process, from providing design conceptualization and space plannning to budget preparation and project coordination.
Though we work primarily in the residential field, we have experience in commercial and office applications, we well. We pride ourselves on having a deft eye for the selection of furnishings, fabrics, finishes, lighting design and wall and window treatments. We are happy to meet for consulations, or to take a project concept to completion.
